I had high hopes for this film since it features "Flight of the Conchords" stars Bret McKenzie, Rhys Darby and Jemaine Clement. While it has it's funny moments, they are few and far between. It's a decent watch tho.
Andre, a fairly bad teacher, and Juliet, a student, meet during a trial for a new cancer drug which may cause, among other things, hallucinations. Soon they start to see ghosts of previous patients and events that happened in the past. But deciphering what is real and what is the effect of the drugs proves increasingly difficult and Andre and Juliet must uncover a possible double murder if they are to escape.
As I said, it's not as funny as I thought it was going to be but it is quite witty and well written. The story is interesting enough to keep you watching and the acting is pretty good. All in all, not bad!
