Zombies, Zombies, Zombies (2008)
A scientist searching for a cure for cancer invents a drug which promotes cell growth. This is misused by a local drug addict and some prostitutes and it turns them into mindless zombies who start biting people. A group of pole dancers team up with the zombie prostitutes' former pimp to defend their workplace, the Grindhouse, from the zombies.
And despite a clear lack of budget, this one is pretty good. Fairly intelligent and quite funny with loads of references to other horrors for the horror fan (like Freddy 6 3D glasses when the wee girl is watching the zombie film at the beginning - reminds me of my childhood!! J), it's really worthwhile to watch. Despite some plot similarities to Zombie Strippers which was released around the same time, it is at the same time a very different film which stands on its own. And there's strippers for the lads too!
